Impulse purchases often happen in a few seconds: you see something, want it, and buy it before you've had time to think. WaitAndBuy is built for people who recognize this pattern and want a simple way to create some space between wanting something and actually buying it.
Instead of buying immediately, users save an item with a photo, price, title, and notes, then set a waiting period. When the waiting period ends, they get a reminder to come back and decide whether to buy it, skip it, or wait longer.
The goal isn't to tell people what they can or cannot buy. It's to introduce a small amount of friction at the moment when an impulse purchase is most likely to happen.
WaitAndBuy is currently focused on validating the problem and understanding which people benefit most from this approach. We're looking for feedback from people who struggle with impulse spending, shopping habits, or buyer's remorse, and especially from anyone willing to actually try the flow with a real purchase they're considering.
The product is live and free to try. We're more interested in learning from real usage than simply collecting signups.
